I bought a tumbler 2 years ago and yesterday I made an interesting discovery, the tumbler bucket is literaly falling apart. It's craking everywhere along the molding seem. Anybody has any idea how to fix it or should i contact RCBS directly:confused:

Sounds like it has taken one too many tumbles! (grin)

Call RCBS, they will likely send you a new one without you even having to send the old parts back. I know they have replaced a few items for me under warranty sight unseen over the phone. Air mail packages arrived less than a week later. Great folks.

RCBS are great at standing by their products.I would contact them through the `ask the experts' email page on the website.Include pics if possible.
They will see you right.

I used my Hornady M2 tumbler so much I wore out the plastic where the bowl makes contact with the base.

Muffler tape comes in handy.

Wow...I've had an RCBC tumbler for about 8 or 9 years now, and sometimes I leave it running for days...No problmes at all.

The guys are right, call RCBS, and they shoudl send you a new one. If they want to see the old unit, send them pics, it shoudl be enough, I htink..

Give RCBS a call they will help you out, they sent me free parts for a Big Max press which they don't even make anymore and all I did is ask if they were still available and what would the the price be for them.

Makes me wonder if sunlight affects the plastic.

I have seen many plastic items get brittle or weakened from too much exposure to sunlight. As crazy as it sounds, do you guys think sunlight could shorten a bowls life?

How about some of those cleaning additives added to media?

(Just thinking outloud.)

I was given an old RCBS tumbler with a burnt out motor by a friend. I called RCBS and they sent me a new motor at no charge.
