Tumbler question

Approx how many .223 brass can you put in a Lyman 1200 Turbo tumbler at one time? I think it holds 3# of media. Thanks in advance.

I have a 1200, in my experiance it will hold 500 9mm, 350 45ACP, 200 243 & 200 30-06. Not all at the same time mind you.....

I have about 3 1/2# of media in mine if memory serves......

My rule of thumb is to fill it untill it just about overflows.

Thanks. I just put 100 .223 brass in it and wanted to make sure it wasn't too many.

I think I had 400+ (maybe it was 300???) .223 cases in at one time.

I know I can do a few hundred 6BR cases.
