What do you use for cleaning 22-250,223,222 etc.? I used corncob in about twenty test cases and while it worked fine it took forever to get it out of the cases.

I use crushed walnut bird litter with a capful of dillon blue stuff for my 204 ruger, pours right out, and is cheap (or is that cheep? ;) ) Some people get large quantity's from autobody supply shops (used for blasting paint off I'd assume) but I haven't found a supply in my area, I just head to petsmart and get a few large bags.

Ok, I'll pick up some crushed walnut's, I just wasn't sure if it was small enough to pour out.

Anyone ever tried sand? Its likely to aggresive for brass but just curious.

Extra fine corn cob will not get stuck in the primer pockets or flash holes. I scoop my cases out of the tumbler with a big slotted kitchen spoon while the tumbler is running. Hold the cases against the inside of the bowl mouth down, and the media vibrates out.
