Tumbling 9mm

I had a similar experience a few years ago. I was given a load by a manufacturer of some 9mm lead bullets that I bought. He gave me a powder load from the top of his head. I left a solid streak of lead in the air 20 yards long and the bullet tumbled when it hit the target. I checked the manual (like I should have done in the first place) and adjusted my load to an intelligent amount of powder and all was good with life once again.
