Tumbling Brass in the Cold

So steel shot is now mandatory for waterfowl, because ducks and geese were inhaling lead dust off of the pellets?

Are you self educated? :(

Waterfoul take small rocks and pebbles into their gizzard to help grind up seeds and hard materials. As you might imagine that process would result in the lead pellets being ground into dust, which is what causes the problems with poisoning.

So I ran my tumbler in my unheated shop overnight. The only issue is the media doesn't want to come out of the brass very well. The other thing I see happening is bringing cold brass inside will cause condensation to form on it so I sealed it in a folgers container to let it warm up. Thinking I will put it in a heated crawlspace instead. FYI it was minus 10 overnight.
