Are you thinning the alox?
How many days to try?

I've done both thinned and straight LLA. Remember that you only require a very thin layer of it on the boolit - any more is just wasteful. It took me a while to get it right and now looking back at my first tumble lubed boolits I see how way too thick I was applying it.

As for dry time, it depends. Sometimes a few days, sometimes a few weeks. I don't have a formula.

Alas, i don't have any pics of my shame..... I quickly (well, not so quickly) used a cloth and rubbing alcohol to clean all of the red walnut dust off of 250 303 brit rounds. These were lubed with a dribble (like, maybe 6 drops) of lee liquid alox and about the same amount of rubbing alcohol, dried for 2 days before i got around to loadign them up.

That's what i was thinking so a rag and varsol it is. Thanks guys.

If you do it outside for proper ventilation (which is OK with the weather getting warmer) lacquer thinner works a lot faster & does a better job.
