Tumbling media......

Once I tried Rice, I thought with a little brasso it would clean and polish, it did not work that well, in fact it jammed itself so tightly in the cases that I had to remove it with a drill bit... Much as I would like to find tumbling media from a free source, I am ok with buying it after that experience.

i'm also using stainless media in a rock tumbler its amazing but like the rest said throw a little tumbling polish in there and you will get good results dryer sheets also help i know many people still using this setup although most are switching to stainless

As posted in this thread, cut up 1" strips of a bounce sheet and throw it into your tumbler. Change it every time you tumble. It will pick up the dust and dirt and remove any static from your media. This is also said to prolong the life of your media.
I also agree with adding the Nu-Finish car polish, it makes brass sparkle.
I have also been told to pick up a bag of crushed walnut from PA.

ok can i use the white creme nu finish and what is pa, can i get crushed walnut from a pet store
