a bit off the OP,s topic...but..
has any one ever tried spent primers and 22 spent casings as a media??

Walnut costs 50¢ a pound. You would pick spent 22 cases for that?

look up cheap in the dictionary...theres a pic of me there...im thinking up standing up the 22 brass and smucking it with a hammer...just to compact it a bit...
any one try this for a media???

Just make sure you don't create something that will get stuck in the cases.

+1 It might work ok for straight walled cases, but it'd be pretty easy to lose a primer in a bottleneck case.
