Tumbling with SS media...

...is nothing short of amazing!! A few quick shots from my first couple batches of 45 ACP. Cases on left are dirty, on the right is after tumbling with SS media for about 1.5 hrs. Works amazingly well on brass and nickle plated.

Its one thing to see the pics on the sites that sell this stuff, but unreal to see the results first hand!
 
I just started using ss media and am super impressed with how clean and shiny the brass is. I ordered it off of ebay, 5lbs and including shipping was aroud $80.00.

Just wish the mods would sticky this so I wouldn't have to keep answering the same questions over and over again on how to build and assemble a complete unit.
 
I ended up getting my stuff from getmygun, as being in the valley of NS doesn't give me much options for anyone closer, glad I did though, because everything was very prompt and professional.

I suppose you could build a tumbler, but personally I'm not sure how much money I'd save going that route, though the sizing would be nice to control.

Regardless, all I meant for this post was to say that if you're even considering SS tumbling, DO IT! If you're just starting out, don't waste your money on other methods... Spend the cash once and enjoy making factory ammo look like IT was reloaded!
