Got to shoot a rem 243 BDL I have been working on for a while, adjusted trigger, put a good pad and bedded the action.... my first bedding job.

Well, the results show that...

100 yards, 75gr V-max, 43,5gr H4350

Now gotta work on that deer load (other group)

Cheers
A happy shooter

as a gun nut, I dont care as much about out of the box performance, like some guys would

I want to tweak and play, and thats why remingtons win

Nicely put, I couldn't agree more with that statement. Although I prefer Winchester M70's.

lots of ways to skin a cat

not as much out there for Abolts, Rugers, T3s etc, if a guy is so inclined to want to customize his gun a bit to the way *he* wants it.

fine shootin' Pilot24, thats great accuracy

There are a lot of lessons to be learned here.

ROFL - doug, why don't you quit pretending and just rent some retail space? :) You know you're a firearms merchant at heart.

For you, Foxer, special deal!!!! two for one, this week only.........

And heck, come on down to the Eganville Gun Show this weekend and help me pay off my hunt camp! :)

Ya, forgot to say I floated the barrel.... amazing what a dremel tool can do!!
I also bedded the first 2'' of the barrel as Mysticplayer suggested in one of his posts, took me two tries because I had dug the wood a little too much...
