Tuning a 625 - questions for the wheelgun gurus

Stop hoarding them and sell one of them off. Lol.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I will explain why I have 3 guns. If I travel to other clubs to shoot, I always take two guns. I hate to spend the time and effort to travel and then have a gun break. If I have only one gun, that is the end of the match for me.

At the end of July 2013, I broke the trigger pivot pin/stud on one of my guns. I sent it to a Canadian S&W repair business, who do excellent work. BUT the gun had to go back to S&W as it was a job for the factory. The gun is still at the Canadian repair business. The reason being, S&W are trying to get a program up and running that will enhance the turn around time on out of country repairs and lessen the paper work that is required by the US government. The Canadian repair people are as frustrated as I am at trying to get the gun back for repair.

I looked long and hard to find my guns and as long as I shoot IPSC and ICORE, I will never have less than 3 guns.

An old PPC trick if you insist on using the strain screw to adjust the mainspring.

Great post, never thought of this one, it could save hours of grief...
What I've liked so far:
-Fiber optic front sight.
-Hogue round butt to square butt rubber grip.
-Lightly chamfered cylinders.
What hasn't worked for me so far:
-Screwing with the springs made it fussy on primer selection.
-Hogue round butt rubber grips.
-The gas pedal for unlocking the cylinder.
