Polys require a lot of hand movement if you're dialing while the bird is cumming in. I have one on my browning worksd great but I'm an idiot and can't shoot that gun (always see that back of reciever). I had a custom 4x full choke made for my mossberg .650 it patterns insanely tight with #6 and will keep tight groups with 4s as well. It adds 3.5" to my 28" vr barrel and seems to double recoil. However I prefer to use my baikal sxs 28 5/8" barrels f/m with 7/8oz of #6 shot. Works great and pisses my buddies off with their big specail turkey guns with scopes and range finders and and that other crap. This year I will take one with my 10ga sxs I have to justify buying it to the wifey but since its over 11lbs loaded its a ##### to carry. 26" full choke will work fine. If you feel you need to spend cash and upgrade go ahead the economy needs it. But if you're patient any shotgun loaded with legal size shot will work.
