As I'm getting into turkey hunting and checking out different calls and stuff. Box calls were one of the tools I wanted to pick-up to help in my hunt. So I picked up my first box call (Primos) last weekend at the tradex show I've been practicing on it and I just love the feel and the sound of these wooden calls. Now I'm addicted.
Eventhough the call I picked up is mass produced and isn't handmade it is a work of art. Doing a little bit more research into different box calls, there are lots custom box calls with intricate inlays and varying designs.
So just wondering if there are any Turkey box call collectors out there. Were and how did you start your collection. Recommendations? Different Carvers? Books?
