Ah Hoyt, you have no faith, I shot my first turkey at 75 yds one shot stone dead............Oh ya but wait, that was with a handgun...........Ok I shot another one the next day at 200 mtrs, how's that for stretching them out, nope, nope that one was with my Hornet.........how come you guys shoot turkeys with a shot gun anyways, stupid thing with no range to them.....

Holy sh!t, that photo was back when I was young and beautiful.............seems like yesterday, I look at my bear pics from this year and wonder who that old fart is that snuck into my bear photos........

SuperBrad just loves this pic, it's the new proper pose for turkey photo ops.....

Who needs a rifle or shotgun at all if you can sneak up behind them and grab them by the throat?......

Fall 2015 - 870 Turkey...love the sights on this one.

I'm honestly not sure which one I will use this year....time will tell.

12 sx3 28" waterfowl with 3.5" Winchester 5's. Undertaker extra full.

If I get a second chance I'll be taking the Winchester 1300 with the 24" turkey barrel with a extra full tru glo choke.

Wish I had time to practise and be proficient with my compound but just can't find the time.

my mossberg 935 that's lethal out to 75 yards with Winchester long beard xr #4's, primos jellyhead choke and bushy camo trs-25. took last years bird at 55 yards after turning at 45yards and walking away......... I wasn't having any of that!!!

he'll be 7 in a few weeks, he likes shooting his red rascal........ had to talk him out of pink because he wanted something that looked like his sisters pink cricket...... the red was a hard sell........ LOL
I usually set up my shooting bench in the side yard with a led sled for my 9 year old daughter and my son.
we could probably get together sometime if my schedule will cooperate........ getting over a week of pneumonia this weekend and have until Monday night off. might try and get out Monday morning depending how I feel. I was supposed to work days yesterday and today and then switch to nights sunday night and Monday night, if I'm not up all night coughing like I have been i'll get out for an hour or two.

what day is his birthday? hunter's is on the 12th.
the worst part is I showed him a camo T/C hotshot a few weeks later and he said " hey, that looks like yours daddy, can I get that one......." wife said, NO........ LOL

Now, now no picking on Brad. After all he is an engineer not a mathemetician!! And he is a top notch engineer too! Story goes that he designed the new bridge at Nipigon?!! But that could just be a rumor?!

Mossberg 535 Kicks ported .655 turkey choke Winchester #5 shot. This combo shoots excellent groups. Shreds a piece of paper at 40 yards. I have a A400 but this gun shoots better so I use it. The recoil is about 3x harder though.

Maybe not an issue... but you might want to know when you have historically been able to "get busy..." Looks to be mid-August... smart to avoid hunting season.
