turkey hunt in ontario

I would love to hunt turkeys, not to many in SK. other than frozen ones and a couple of dipstick neighbors. There was talk of letting some go along the east side of the province not sure if it went ahead or not.

I figure if pheasants can survive is Saskatchewan, the turkeys should fare well?... They are doing ok in Manitoba last I hear... same weather for the most ...
 
Ya they should survive with the proper cover. My area is open with mostly caragana hedge rows. I think they like lots of wooded areas with clearings to feed in. Brother inlaw raised a few up near P.A. they did pretty good. Mind you nobody ever thought there would be moose and elk all over southern SK.
 
Thanks for the reminder!! I don't hunt turkeys, but my license was due for renewal! Gotta love the MNR's E-License! 2 minutes and $48 later, I have my fishing and small game taken care of. Didnt even need to get off the couch!

you need a printer for that or do they ship it out to you? the reason i ask is that i don't have one, and i'm lazy :D
