Turkey hunt

Well, thought I would give turkey hunting a try again . My first year was about 4 years ago and the only thing I got was carried away by mosquitoes, so I gave up.

So I tried this year , first time out was today and 40 min later two jakes in the bag for my partner and I , they walked right in on the hens 20 yds out.

Don't know how to insert pics,, no big deal .

That was too easy , wished deer were that easy !

Not to rain on your parade, but it was luck.
Last year 2 jakes walked upto my decoys and were pecking at them while I was distracted with a gameboy.

And this year I saw nothing on opening day, and could hear only 2 or 3 gobbles in the distance

Your right, but it's like golf . One good shot after a bad game and you think your on to something,, same with my turkey venture this year. It erased all those bad memories from a couple years ago
