Thanks for the advice,BUT,I dont know if the law is different than that in the UK, but I thought you were innocent till proven guilty?

Im not casting adversions here, but I am getting this overwhelming feeling that alot of the reasons of some of this countries "odd" perspectives are made by those that feel they may be doing something wrong and not just getting on with it. I mean if I want to sit in a bush/hedge then I will, do I have to have a reason for doing so?

Im not being a bolshie Bas:*&d, it just seems some people are always looking behind.

Unfortunatley, most of the time, when it involves hunting or shooting, we are always assumed guilty until we can afford to prove ourselves innocent.

Taking a camera with you is kind of like building an alibi into a legal event, but might still prove to be worthwhile after the fact...

Disgusting, isn't it?

I completely agree with you, but stand by my advice. Good luck!

Go ahead and call turkeys. Lots of Bird Watchers do it. When I took the course there were two bird watchers who were getting advice on calling from the instructors - some of whom are apparently national experts on turkey hunting. In fact if you take the course to get your licence, bring down your calls with you and do some for them and they will give you some quick advice on your style.

While in the bush be careful that your calls aren't being hunted by another hunter, this is apparently the big issue. In fact last season I was calling in a Tom and didn't hear the other guy who had crept up almost beside me. When the Tom came strutting, he shot him, and it scared the crap out of me. But I was proud of myself for at least calling a bird in...

As to innocent before guilty, sure same thing here. Seems like though that the proving yourself innocent part is a punishment all to itself as money is wasted on defence while your guns are confiscated...
