My usual turkey hunting spot is unavailable (which was a little on the small side and far anyways) and we (turkey buddy and I) are looking at any and all alternatives in south-western Quebec (Rigaud) or even Montreal south shore.
Actually, any info regarding outfitters, guides, friendly farmers/land owners that would let us rid them of pesky ol' tom for a small donation (from us, of course!
), or anything else that could help two newcomers to the sport enjoy it in a responsible fashion would be very appreciated.
We only had a few outings 2 years ago and only managed to call in a (possibly curious) hen!?
. I've had more luck with moose (and fishing!, although not with a shotgun... ).
Maybe a little late for this season but any info will help, worst case for next year.
