Turkey o/u shotgun

Anyone know of any o/u shotguns designed for turkey hunting? Only thing in canada i can find is the The browning cynergy ultimate turkey model but it is out of my price range.

Cz has the swamp ou. Canadas gun shop in Newbury had one in stock the other week. Its camo
Churchill had a camo ou as well.

Any ou can work unless you're searching for short barrels and drilled and tapped. In that case the Churchill 206 HD would suit your needs

Mossberg makes a "Turkey" version of the silver reserve o/u. If I remember correctly I think I saw one on Tilsonburg Gun Shops website.

its not camo, but has rifle sights, short barrels and removable chokes

Probably a silly question... But how far will you be shooting those turkeys ?

- shooting slugs with a head sight, I was minute-of-soda-bottle accurate to 50 yards... And at 20 they would clover

Never hunted turkey before, I may not even get to this year (draw results will be available monday). But I see no reason why that should prevent me from buying a turkey shotgun. Here the regulations state "You may only use shotguns – gauge 10 to 28 inclusive, with
shot sizes # 4 to # 7." so range will be determined by testing different shot / choke combinations.

If you do your part, you don't need sights. Front bead kills em just as dead.

Where are you located. Ontarible doesnt allow a 28ga. Id love to smack a thunder chicken with my 28ga

I'm in New Brunswick. we've only had a turkey season for a 5 years. Tags are by draw only and only for a few zones in the south and western parts of the province.
