Turkish Beretta Knockoffs ?

I shot one at Target Sports last week. Felt pretty good but don't take my word for it since I couldn't hit the bullseye from 10yrds but the groupings seemed nice for me. I'm not a great shot BTW. I was holding bulleseye at 6 O'clock and it was shooting low for me. This was my first pistol shooting in like 10yrs. Boy do I miss it.

Here's my 10yrd target after 20rnds.

I compared one side by side with a 92 in my local gun shop - if I wanted a Beretta, I'd buy a Girsan without hesitation, the build quality is at least as good (some of the machining looked better) the finish is excellent and the trigger on the one I looked at was smoother in DA and crisper in SA than the Beretta I compared it to. Overall these are nicely made guns for about $300 less than the Beretta - that's a good amount of ammo. Incidentally, they aren't "knock-offs" technically speaking. They are license built in a factory set up by HK to produce firearms for the Turkish military - the same plant turned out G3's, MP5's and now turns out HK 416's for the Turkish military.

Epps supposedly has one in stock and so does Target Sports according to their website. Epps is cheaper by $19. and since Target Sports never updates their online store, you'll have to call to verify.
