Turkish Hi Power

Does anyone have experience with one of the Dominion arms/Canuck Hi Powers? A cursory look at youtube suggests the extractor is prone to fail. I'd love to hear y'alls thoughts and shooting impressions.

I'd buy one of the Israeli surplus, at least you know parts will fit them.

My son has a Tisa. He likes it. Very good fit and finish.

They seem to have nice fit and finish relatively speaking. The fact actual BHP parts may or may not fit is why I never bothered.

Overall they're like any other Turkish gun, you get what you see, any fitment for aftermarket and factory High Power parts is by luck.

Exctractor failed on mine after 200 rounds. Warranty one fits like a glove, the true HP extractor was extremely tight on lock up.

I have a canuck hi power with non adjustable sights. I really like it. I have ran about 600 rounds through it. It was giving my some fail to extract early on so I replaced the extractor with a browning one and all is well. I'm quite good with it at the outdoor range I go to which is about 12 yards . Not great at the indoor...but that's 20 yards and the sights just arent great for that work. But I can keep in 10x10 square atleast.

It wears FEG light walnut grips. Looks real sharp being black.

Fit and finish is excellent. Besides the extractor issue it runs excellent. Even with aluminum cased . 9mm

Parts interchange? Grips, recoil spring and extractors...good enough for me personally. I probably wont shoot it enough in this lifetime to wear it out and need anything else.

It came with 2 mecgar mags too. I got it barely used.

Cylinder and Slide seems to like them, especially the stainless ones.
