Turkish Mauser 1935

A friend wants to sell me a nice matching 1935 turkish Mauser. Any idea how much does it worth?

Do you mean M1938? Or some other model dated 1935? Need to know, and pics always help.

Just guessing what it is, if not bubba'd, and with an excellent bore, IMO ~$350. If matching, it's a uncommon bird.

Now if it's a M1935 Brazilian, that's a whole different matter.

Yes, its all matching, with a nice bore and not altered. Doesnt worth more than 350$? That a the price i should pay?

Its a Ankara 1935 mauser in 8mm. I dont have it in my hands, but its beautifull. Excellent shape.

Still about 350$. Not too much demand for those rifles helps keep the price down. Look at it like a Carcano, a mint M41 is still only worth about 300$ max, is it a bad gun no but the demand isn't there.

I'd love to see pics of this turk as I've never seen one with matching numbers which would make it a very rare bird.

i saw the rifle and it was not as stated: bolt is not matching, metal look reblued and not sure it was arsenal done and wood has an oil finish added to it (cant remember name). I cant remember too many information about when i was collecting turkish mausers, but i think it is a 1903 model upgraded in 1935. Not a collector piece but should be a good shooter.
