Now tell me, when has Marstar NOT lived up to it's promises ? We have always deivered what we said we would....

Well you are partly right, in fact there are only a few factories making shotguns in Trukey....
Infact many of the so called MAJOR brand names are now made there....
S&W being one, Benelli is now owned by and manufactured by Turks.
John
No it isn't. Benelli is owned by Beretta. Certain Benelli designs are being manufactured under licence in Turkey.johnone said:Benelli is now owned by and manufactured by Turks.
Where did you get that info from?johnone said:CANUCK 223;

He's not incorrect in one regard. Many "name" brands are having guns made in Turkey but that doesn't make all Turkish guns alike.Win/64 said:Where did you get that info from?
Yes but Benelli is not "owned and operated by the Turks"Claybuster said:He's not incorrect in one regard. Many "name" brands are having guns made in Turkey but that doesn't make all Turkish guns alike.
CZ guns are being made by Huglu. Mossberg o/u, Stoeger semi-autos and pumps, some Charles Daly guns come from there. There are undoubtedly others too. S&W's new sxs is being made in Turkey but they took great pains to stress that they have developed their own manfacturing facilities there instead of relying on one of the established makers. Kimber's sidelock Valier is also made in Turkey.
I've seen some serviceable guns from Turkey (e.g. the CZ) and I've seen some real s**t too.
