If you don't mind the 8# plus trigger pull, the folding single shots have been good for me (armed and sinsinati), except for the crossbolt safety internal hammer one that corwin sold, that one went back. A true POS.

I have a little fold up single shot 410 from revolution armory that has thumped alot of grouse with no problems. I have the Canuck pump pistol grip in 12g that I have very little use with but has had a small pile of champion slugs run thru it with no issues. I picked up a Win sxp in 20g with zero issues in 2 seasons of grouse and ducks. I have a beretta silver pigeon that has a couple pheasants and a pile of grouse with no problems. Also a browning maxxus that's killed more birds than all the rest combined with zero issues. The later two are nicer to look at and give me a little sense of pride. The Turkish shotguns function well and I expect them to last awhile as long as I take care of them.

Spent some time at the range with my new Canuck Pioneer pump action 12ga. This one is built by Derya. I like is alot. Faultless today, and after two boxes of high brass 00 buck, it was noticeably smoother. It won't take long to break this one in. Also surprising is that my Amazon brand green laser is still in one piece! I want to install a handstop, but I'll need to alter a spare forend by making it a few mm shorter. I wore my sissy pad today, and glad I did! :)

I have a K -100 12ga, it looks like it was never fired. The hammer is broken where the sear rests on it.
Can't seem to find a part anywhere. It can't be warrantied because I have no purchase reciept.

Hatsan Escort

Have the Hatsan Escort semi auto for several years now, and 100% happy.
The gun even made some 3 gun matches, and always performed very well, eating all kinds of loads. Bird shot, 00 buck, slugs... she even out performed some Benellis that had hiccups with light loads.
Here is the girl in the good company of the AR (Taurus T4 14,5) and the Imbel IA2 in 7,62mm.
Love those kids :d

Well, finally joined the Turkish shotgun owners club. Recently bought a beautiful Huglu O/U in 28 gauge from Prophet River. Beautiful Turkish walnut stock, color/case hardened, engraved receiver finish, weighs 6 lbs 2 oz. Excellent fit and finish that would rival most guns from Italy. Finally got to try it out yesterday, POI and patterning tests and shot some clays. Works perfectly as it should, hits where it’s pointed, no complaints so far, very happy with the purchase. Can hardly wait for chicken season.

I just bought an Armsan A612b , a gas semi-auto 12gauge.When Tristar imports them , they are the Viper G2. I was left a almost new 1964 Winchester 1400 in January. The Turk worked flawlessly from the get go. I couldn't say the same about the Winchester. The gas system is much better design and build quality then the Winchester. The rotary bolt on the Winchester needed a 500 round break in, but as a design, it was more impressive. The Turk bolt is totally functional. It's only a shotgun, after all. The Turk strips and cleans easier. A very important thing in a gas gun. The Winchester isn't bad in that respect. Fit and finish is excellent. The wood for deluxe has fiquire, but nothing to write home about. It comes with a chrome lined barrel and Mobil chokes. 3" chamber.

I had an M4 clone that just started falling apart on me while shooting. It was promptly sent back and I won't be trying another. I had a little single shot .410 that was ok but you'd almost have to try and get something like that wrong.

Just picked about another Turk: a Lazer Arms 12 gauge single shot (branded Revolution Army). All 4140 steel and only weighs 4.4 lbs!! It sports a very nice Turkish walnut stock, 20" blued/chrome-lined vent rib barrel with brass bead, 3 Mobile chokes, a nice nickel plated receiver. It's under 37 inches overall and folds neatly in half! It locks up solid and has very good fit and finish. What more can you want for $200 ? I might buy another in 410! I also have two Amish made 3/4 inch leather slings that will fit the steel swivels. I also prefer an external hammer over a safety as I can load it and not #### the hammer, thus quick and easy to put into action, and it's quite stuff, so no worries about inadvertent cocking. I am quite pleased and surprised. It's almost too nice for my bug-out bag or trunk!

They come in several barrel sizes, with both sights or vent rib. They are comparable in quality to a Huglu.

From personal experience, put a band aid on your third finger prior to shooting, that machine screw behind the trigger guard is going to whack it. The trigger guard is poor cast quality as well, mine broke and no factory replacement available. i also improved the trigger pull somewhat by backing off the mainspring screw.

Grizz

I read your post. I'll keep an eye on the trigger guard. Looks pretty beefy. So far, the trigger guard screw has not impacted my fingers. The only gripe I have, and its minor, is that its so damn light, that recoil is harsh. I might fit a limbsaver.

I work Sat mornings for a small gun shop. We have been selling a ton of the Revolution Armoury single shots. $174 plus tax...so just under $200.

Just recently we got in a few of the semis, including the waterfowler model. Decent build quality.

Having said that, my waterfowl gun is a Girsan MC312....and zero issues.

I haven't read every post if only b/c I don't own such a shotgun, but is that duck tape?

Gas system on that b!tch is weird. It can blast your forward support hand if you're trying to run a cgrip. Tape looks like an ez fix, if the platform was still legal to discharge..

This seems to be where the experts hang out. I'm looking for a .410 double, left hand cast. Preferably a pistol grip stock and nice wood. Any suggestions. Then I can properly join the party.

Im on my 2nd replacement r4 we shall see. First one was missing the plunger to engage the cap so the mag cap always backed off randomly. 2nd gun the gas piston hole threads were stripped out. They did send me a new barrel assembly built pistons and all. Time will tell

Prophet River has lots of Huglu 410 sxs's listed on their website, both single and double trigger models. They don't state if any are left hand so I'd assume they are all right handed guns but you could give them a call to find out for sure.
