Turknelli M4 is HERE AT LAST!!!! TAC 12 BY Trigger wholesale!!!!

My gun has basically stopped cycling anything but slugs. Very peculiar as it went from running great to constant failures to feed. I have stripped, cleaned and lubed up the gun but I don't see what difference that should make. I had the same oversized o-ring issues as described by others. Again, not sure that is the cause of my issues.

Please post up what the fix is when it’s solved. I don’t have mine yet but it’s on the way.

Also, if the o-ring is oversized, does anyone know where to get/ what is, the correct sized o-ring?

buy an o ring kit, any hardware store will have them, so will amazon. as for the right size a member posted above the size he used just read back through the comments its only a few pages back. look for the picture of the red box

that's weird, there really isn't much to go wrong on these they are extremely simple guns. maybe a gas port became blocked some how. did you try switching the pistons and piston covers around? i know that shouldn't make a difference but you never know. if all else fails send it to s&j, it is under warranty

when you say failure to feet is the round already part way into the chamber, or is it still on the elevator?

I will post some pictures assuming it happens again. Recoil seems too light and the lifter more often than not isn't bringing the shell into position, nosediving the shell it should be placing into battery. This gun has 200 7.5 trap loads, 100 00 buck and 105 slugs through it at this point. Break in period is not an excuse at this point especially considering the gun is getting worse and worse.

I sat down to adjust the sights but didn't make it far. The gun won't even cycle slugs now. Going to ask for a refund. I have no time for another warranty adventure.

I tore down the gun completely aside from removing the stock. Everything was thoroughly cleaned and lubricated. There is no crud and no explanation I can come up with. The issues started long before I did anything at all to the gun so it's very weird.

I called S&J but no answer. The gun just blew out it's handguard retainer or whatever it's called. I actually got it on video. Here is a pic since I dunno how to post videos. Needless to say I am done shooting this thing. I hope there is no grief over a straight refund. I have no interest in dealing with this.

YIKES! yea dont put another round through it something is pooched for sure.

is the video on your phone or have you uploaded it to a hosting site like imgur? maybe someone on here can help out with getting that vid up id be curious to see it.

also try emailing s&j, another customer had some issue and said they called them and s&j said they had no record of that person calling. i seem to get pretty good results emailing Simon at sales@sjhardware.com

It's apart on the shooting table. Everything looks fine just like it did before. I have no explanation at all. How would the retainer fail like that? Being pushed out to the side makes no sense. Waiting for a call/email from whoever. I just want my money back at this point.

Please call the shop number simons out of coms for most of today
It looks like the barrle was not seated when you fired it.
That could be why you were having iasues

The gun was together properly, thanks. I checked and rechecked everything multiple times. I don't know what the shop number is there is only one listed on your website.

the barrel looks properly seated in that picture.

It could not have been any tighter... I called the other number enclosed in an invoice email. Was told the only person that can help is Simon so I'm not sure why Simon is telling me to call the shop..? I have the distinct feeling I am about to get screwed around.

Got off the phone with Simon. Sounds like I will be taken care of. I have no idea what is up here but I won't be firing the gun any more. This is a very simple and robust platform so any malfunction is unexpected and out of the ordinary for sure.

that's good you're being taken care of. sucks all of their stock of these are sold out so you cant get another one but im sure after your experience you might not be in a hurry for another, but like you said its a robust system, there really isn't much to go wrong in the m4 design, so long as the design is executed properly with good materials. no one expected these to be as good as a benelli, but i hope these will still be solid shotguns

When I read the reports of front sight "canting" issues I was a bit worried...... bummer.
