Who knows what the Turd Reich will implement next.... they seem to just double down on stupid every time regardless of "the science" or facts and evidence.

My 1301 holds 5 3” shells and 6 2.75” shells in the tube
With a ghost load and one in the chamber that’s a total of 8.
It also recoils far less then a pump gun. The Reddot stays in the window and the gun settles right back on target for a quick second or third shot.
Split times are way quicker then a pump gun and I can run a pump fast.
Semi auto shotguns are a real game changer.

As opposed to the guy in the first video around the 4:40 mark saying "I'm biased towards XX, I'm biased aginst turknelli"?? I personally don't care if people love them or hate them, but lets at least step back and put on our critical thinking cap. Some people have good luck, others not so much. The firearm, the "operator", and the ammo itself can all play a part in reliability. If you've never witnessed someone quick dis-assemble the bolt/op rod on a M-14 type rifle and then blame the gun, maybe it'll never make sense. I see an undergassed gun in the first video, so what did he expect, other than to confirm his confirmation bias? I thought there were a few more interesting tidbits in the vid regarding the handling.

What's unrealistic about it? That's actually what I tried myself when I got mine. I can't say I had a specific number in mind but especially back then 500 rounds isn't special when you have a whole day, a few flats of slugs/buck and a friend or two out with you.
 
I think where the first guy get's an F, is the whole, I just took it out of the box and started shooting it aspect.

Maybe clean off the shipping goo, give it a once over and lubricate a few spots.... then like most cheaper semi auto shotguns run 50 or so quality slugs or buckshot and then ease in to the variety pack.

Not unrealistic to achieve, unrealistic scenerio to require or find one's self in.
There's no real world application for john q public where 500 successive rounds would be used.
500 rounds over the course of a few hours will impact a gun differently than 500 rounds over a number of months or even a year, depending on the gun and user.
 
Anyone that's thinks these Turkish shotgun's are anything but plinking grade will be overwhelmed with disappointment. They are not "Pro grade" street sweepers. I've shot two different versions both had problems nothing serious but enough not to trust your life on them. Upside cool as #### shooting a cheap M4 fun as hell and don't feel bad treating them like a dirty............
 
I’ve had two versions of the M4 knock offs and both were garbage. Complete waste of money in my opinion. Got talked into an R4 by the importer in Edmonton and it turned out to be an even bigger turd than the one I had before it. Buy a 1301 or save for a real M4.
 
500 rounds in trapshooting is called a marathon, usually done in a day, different shotguns though.

I shot a flat once, definitely wears on you.
 
I'll stick with my Wingmasters until I'm convinced that I need an auto, then I'll spring for the tried and true M4. I'm too old, and life is too short to dicker with that Turkish nonsense.
 
I don't start trusting a gun until it's had at least 500rds without a failure. My Operator elite has 200 so far (all slugs) but it's been perfect with no abnormal wear. My 870 tactical needed a VQ extractor after day 1, but it's earned my trust since.
To be honest, I don't have high hopes for the Turknelli but it could surprise me. From everything I've read the 1301 seems to be the best value out there. I need a better goose gun, but a short 1301 is in my future
 
Ive owned two Turkish made pumps from big brands that worked fine.

I also had a Mossberg 930 that started failing to eject pretty early without cleaning it. I went to the range twice for skeet for a few rounds with no cleaning in between, say 150 rounds total. I was pretty surprised how caked up the gas ports were. Gun was fine, no complaints just surprised how fast it could build up grime.
