Turn a DA P762 into a Carbine?

This might be way out of left field (and I mentioned the idea in the Canada Ammo forum), but has anyone ever given any thought into making either just a carbine adapter (a la Sigtac) but specifically for the P762 or a extra long barrel and a chassis that fits around the gun (or is there a existing chassis that works)? It could make a nifty little pistol carbine to shoot.

Tilting barrel locking system won't cycle the extra long barrel without some kind of booster. Booster defeats the advantages of long barrel...

Fair enough, how about those chassis systems that don't include a longer barrel (simply a wrap around chassis and buttstock)?
