Used to be very common practice for any smith to cut off the existing, weld back on 90deg downwards and reshape.
Might not be as common now but a decent welder could help you out. File to shape, polish and reblue.

Is you rifle a sporter or military configured model???
If it's a matching numbered milsurp, don't mess with the existing bolt.
If it's a mixmaster sporter, then there are lots of smiths on this site, such as tiriaq who can do the job of bending or cutting/welding the bolt for you.
If it's a sporter, then you might want an extension added to the end of the handle or get the smith to replace the handle with a replacement. The reason for this is the original straight bolt handle isn't long enough after its been altered.
