Turning a Stainless Gun into a Blued Gun

I should have added something. If the stainless gun has been damaged somehow and no longer looks good stainless. And for some strange reason someone wanted to "cover up the ugliness" of the stainless. Is it possible?

It can be bead blast or carded/polished back to new condition, unless there are very deep gouges on the metal.

I had Hart Barrels put on a stainless barrel on a Rem700 BDl in the 70's, they had to send it out cost was $65 then, very nice job and its as nice today as when I got it.
Noyiced this site on web that blues stainless, a little more expensive now, but so is everything else

THat is melonite QPQ, a hardening process, the same as Tenifer on Glocks.
