So, I was having problems ejecting cases from my 250. The cases were hitting the L/R turret on my scope so I turned it 90 degrees to see what would happen. It took me 4 shots to zero it in for 100 yds sighting!
I was pleased with it and switched the turrets and am going to change the R to an L for the adjustment.

OK, Let me have it guys! What do you think?

Um, if you rotate it 90 degrees, wouldn't your UP/DOWN adjustments now become your LEFT/RIGHT, and vise versa?

Maybe I'm confused, but I don't understand your statement of "change the R to an L for the adjustment".

Re. R to L

The R dial has the arrow pointing in the wrong direction now. Turning in the direction of the arrow actually does reverse. So I'll remove the "R" and stencil in a "L".

What model is that scope??????/

Sounds like its on backwards.

You may run out of elevation adjustment if you shoot more then one distance.
Your scope may have more elevation then windage. By turning it 90 you now have less elevation and lots of windage.
You could always remove the ejector and pick the brass out with your finger, unless of course you need fast follow-up shots.

Hey JD you might be on to something here. Turn the scope end for end to practice long range shooting at 100 yards:D
