They vary in size from as small as the size of a pencil eraser to as large as an egg, and then some traditional bulleye targets.

It is a confidence shoot if you are confident you can hit the small targets you will gain the most points. As the distance get longer the targets get small and it will test your abilities.

It is a pretty fun shoot.

i have seen guys compete with 223 up to 300 win mag.

So, this shoot is just 15 rounds for each class? What are the rules for front rests/bipods and such?

What time would this wrap up at?

15 rounds at 100 yards, 15 rounds at 200 yards, 15 rounds at 300 yards. It will probably wrap up about 230pm. Not sure about front support (I used a bipod last year)...email the match director if you're really curious.

It is bipod with a rear bag . As Terry said it is as hard as you want to make it . Shoot at the larger target get slightly less points . Shoot at the tougher target and miss you lose more points . :)

I was out dialing in my scope for 200 and 300 yards yesterday. Pencil eraser sized targets are not going to easy at 300... but egg sized targets should be "easy"...
This should be a challenging match, I can't wait, and I hope the weather holds out.

The weather forecast is great for tomorrow. Warm and Sunny ...go figure.
Should add ...dry and dusty.SWO heatwave continues.
Covered firepoint will keep you out of the elements anyways and a nice cool breeze
will keep it interesting.

Well the shoot went off without many problems .
There was the usual mutterings of " What happened there ? " :)
The mirage proved interesting at 200 and 300 yards .
We had 13 people shoot and I believe everyone left with a smile .
The target guy/cook did a fantastic job considering the heat .
While the scores were being added up we had a fun shoot . Mr. J Miller came away with half of the pot . :)
