Hmmm pretty much right next door to me, I've marked the calendar, now just gotta find a bipod and some practice time.

Anyone know what the going rate for a membership at twincity is? Thanks!

Sorry Norm,
Hadn't visited back here in awhile.
Not sure exact amount for membership but very inexpensive for facilities.
Come out to match and check them out while there.
Gord

IMPORTANT NOTE:::
Paul has asked me to explain that since not everyone has had the chance
there will be targets and time (from 9:am to 9:45am) available for competitors who wish to sight in and confirm comeups for 1,2 and 300, before the first relay starts at 10:00am.
This makes things fair for those that have not shot our range to get zeroed properly.
Looks like good(better) weather forcast for Saturday but gear up accordingly.
Shooting will be prone on "concrete" which is not as soft as I would like so a mat would be helpful as well.
Hope to see so new faces this go round.
Gord

I can't make it this time, but I recommend it. The 200 and 300 yard distances can be very humbling when the wind picks up. It can make your groups look like patterns.

TODAYS MATCH RESULTS

Thanks to all for a great fun match today. Special Thanks to the volunteers who gave up sleep after tagging their Turkeys to come out and work targets, and to the BBQ master. Beautiful weather(maybe a little too much sun and a little tooo much wind) but a fine showing .
Congratulations to
TREVOR M. 1st place CUSTOM CLASS
MICHAEL F. 1st place FACTORY CLASS
who both shot an outstanding match under TCRC challenging winds and mirage. Those who were there can attest to the frustrating WTF? conditions.
The 200 Yard Poker Shoot was more challenging than the old 100 yard matches and both Dave and Heinz walked away with the cash.
I'll try and get full list results out to those who listed an email address on the sign in sheet tomorrow.
Off to bed with a few pain killers and heating pad for now.
THANKS AGAIN

There was more than enough "what the **** " being said up and down the line at 200 & 300 .:) The shots at 300 can be very humbling (poor hostages )

:sniper:
What a great day, even though the winds where a little tough. Everthing was ok until 300 yds, and then the hostages had a few causulties.
This was my first prone precision shoot, and I will definetly be back for more.
I learned a lot from watching and chatting with some very experienced shooters. Great job by Gord and all the volunteers from Twin City.
Thanks Guys

The next shoot at twin city will be June 21 ,benchrest at 200 and 300 .The next precision prone will be July 26th.Hope to see everyone again .
