T.C.R.C. 2016 RIFLE SHOOTS

Prone Precision May 28

Benchrest July 2

Benchrest August 6

Egg Shoot September 10

I had a great time at the egg shoot last year and will definitely attend again this year. Watching an egg explode at 300 is sooo satisfying!!

What does the "prone precision" entail (other than what is obvious by the title!)?

The Prone Precision match consists of 15 shots in 15 minutes on 15 target bank at 3 distances (100,200,and 300 yard) Total 45 round count.
Over the 3 yardage relays, you will end up with 3 shots cumulative on each target in your target bank. (no stacking allowed :))
2 classes Factory and Custom
Sight in period will allow confirmation for your zeros....
Generally match is followed by BBQ lunch and afternoon challenge matches......
Always a fun day.Worth the effort to attend.
Regards
Gord

Grandaughter Perkins should be in the position to kick her Grandpa's BUTT this year .....
Maybe there's enough Kincardine shooters to form a TEAM and issue a challenge to the other shooters..
And yes the public is welcomed to our matches to shoot or even spectate.
Spotter/coaches are allowed and even encouraged!
Regards

I'm sure the Match Director Paul Weiler will have a flyer with details posted prior to match
BUT you can always email him with any questions on details.
He can be reached at B P Weiler (bpweiler@bell.net)
Maybe see you there

I am also curious about the format or course of fire for all the events. I will definitely be attending as many as I can to help show support. Just wondering what I can expect.

As soon as Paul produces a "flyer" with all match details, I'll post.
Precision Matches are usually 15 rounds on 15 targets X 3 ranges (1,2 and 300) also may include some side matches
Egg Shoot is 15shots at 15 eggs in 15 minutes (again at ranges from 100 to 300)
Always extra rounds are good for sighting in periods and in Egg match for reshoots
Expect a day of some pretty good fun......
Remember ..you can always contact Paul the match director.
