Ok, I understand how the length of bullets effects accuracy performance with bullets.
I have a supply of 55 grain bullets for my 1-10 twist 223 Rem. I also have a box of 60 grain flat base. Both shoot well out of my rifles.
My question for those of you that have experimented with the 223 Rem with twist rates in the 1-10 range is how heavy can the boat tail bullets be before they lose stability? Same goes for flat base bullets.
I'm guessing around 62 grain boat tails and 70 grain flat base.
Has anyone been able to stabilize anything heavier with a similar twist rate??
