It got to me that way. At 25 yards, I had to max out my left and down to be still high and right. I think it might be because of an unbalanced flash suppressor so I'll try it again without when I get home on Sunday or Monday...

But I should have my AR by August, mind you...

At non-sanctioned matches, BB can shoot no problem. IPSC RO's would have to join IDPA and take a Safety Officer (SO) course from an IDPA Safety Officer Instructor (SOI) to SO.

We expect competitors to join IDPA if they intend to shoot regularlly at IDPA matches. This call falls to the clubs and MD to make. Your BB course provides sufficient proof of holster ability. IPSC RO's are well versed in IPSC rules but the two sports are shot very differently with, as has been pointed out, different rules. You will agree it is difficult to officiate a match when you may not know the rules or how to apply them.

Enjoy both sports; they are a lot of fun.

6gm6 and myself are putting together an SO course right now, please PM him if you are interested. Please note you must be a current member of IDPA to participate in this course and you must show your valid membership on the day of the course.
 
Just a note to thank RePete for making the trip to the Rock to put off our IDPA SO course this past weekend.

I think everyone had a great time (I know I did) - it was a great learning experience, and we're all anxious to get the local chapter going. When's the first match? :D

How come Quebec still doesn't have any IDPA clubs? Bloody shame, this interests me tons more than high-zoot non-typical IPSC events :(

Thank-you "Repete" for traveling all that ways to teach us the the SO course.
It was an EXCELLENT course , well put together,well instructed. & when taught by such a knowledgeable & personable Gentleman, such as "Repete" it made the osmosis of IDPA rules that much more enjoyable!! ----- A pleasure for sure!!!!
A large Thank-you "Steve David " for all of your help , & for putting us in contact with such a great all around guy!--- I think I can speak for all the newly minted Safety Officers that we not only officially joined the ranks of IDPA, ------but made a good friend along the way !!!!!!
