The 41 is serial #A1761xx 22lr View attachment 265624 condition is very good no marks on wood or bluing, magazine shows a little ware, Date of production ?

The 52-1 Serial # 10325x It is in absolutely mint condition, no ware marks on magazine, or scratches, he is pretty sure he has original box as he bought it new and claims he never fire more than 50 rounds, any ware Production Date ??

Can't help a lot with values as I tend to follow the S&W revolvers more than their pistols. I can say the Model 41 is 1973-74 production. Older automatics started with serial 1001 in 1954 and ended in 1970 with serial 115000 so I'd guess the model 52 is late 60's vintage. This info from my Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson 3rd edition.

That's a lovely looking 52 and should command strong dollars especially if your friend has the original box, papers etc.

Yes, good advice above.
