here is one that was made in belgium,bottom pic, from what i have found it its a parlor rifle.and the savage 30-30 was made in 1905,

both have the 8 sided barrel. does anyone know anything about the parlor gun?

Nice looking oldies but now i know why i don't shoot well in the house. I'm not getting two fingers in the trigger guard.

The bottom gun is called a Warnant type flobert system rifle which is just a particular design of flobert breach. I doubt that it was a parlor gun but rather an inexpensive .22, assuming it is a .22. The parlor guns or zimmerbuchsen that I have seen were a .177 cal rimfire much like the BB caps only smaller. At least some of them were converted muzzle loaders with a small caliber barrel about 8" long at the muzzle and a long firing pin running up the former bore of the gun. They also tended to have very elaborate stocks.
