This summer i bought a Rossi M92 octo 24 inch 44 mag for my uncle... i did not make it so i was left with a brand new M92 in the box... From Wantsalls i bought a Rossi M92 44 mag Hand rifle and fun to shoot but no use for it on serious hunting, this morning i think i just made the niccest, slickest 44 mag carbine ,did put the long stock on the 12 incher... 30.5 incs and 4POUNDS 12 ounces of pure power, i will shoot it in the week end... Cheers. JP.

I was waiting for someone to put a full-size stock on one of these babies and upload the pictures. Nice work.

This rifle balance perfect in the hands, i will change the sights for better one if it can shoot at 3 inch or so, this gonna be a hell of a brush gun... JP.

I was getting 4 inch + at a 100 metres, the post and buck horn rear sight was covering all of the 6 inchs bull so i decided to go higher and give it a real 6 o'clock hold, after that, i was able to produce a couple of 3.5 inchs 5 shots groups, i am very satisfied with that kind of accuracy out of a 12 inchs barrel... I was shooting 270 Speer full throttle load and over the chrony it was fast @ 1600 -1610 FPS knowing that i will pemantly make the final adjustments to the stock and have the color match on the wood, i will dismantle the action of my brand new M92 action to put the regular lever on my Super Shorty, all ready at the range fellow shooters were eyeballing it, guess it will sparc a lot of interest as this concept is out of the ordinary but mainly because it is gonna be a real deer stumper... Cheers. JP.

this is so badass! i've already got a 16" 44 Puma but i REALLY want to do one of these... even more so now that i've seen it done! thank you sir for posting this!

How's the stock fit? When I tried swapping out my stocks the fit wasn't that great.
The stock I had was an extra from a Rossi .357 that I fitted with a plastic Ramline stock....might have to track down another Ram line and fit it up to the Ranch hand....

Did fit like i t was made for it, the only thing is the stock color is darker but i will redo it in the winter, i guess it cost me tw o brand new rifle to make a Shorty Bad Ass, on an other tread i did put the picture of my best group, pretty good considering i am almost revolver lenght... Cheers. JP.

It would be nice if Rossi could throw in an extra full stock for us Northerners who aren't burdened by some of the American's silly laws around stocks and pistols! There are a few people making stocks for 92's but they usually need a bit of fitting.
Did you see the tread a while back where they guy made a removable extension for his ranch hand? It was pretty slick and all the modifications were under the metal butt protector.
I'm not the biggest fan of the crescent shaped stocks and prefer a rubber pad even if the recoil is mild and to my eye with the short barrel you could snip a bit of that stock and install a recoil pad and it would balance out the look of the gun a bit.....unless of course you need the full length of pull.
