Scored two sporter En's last week. Do not have much knowledge on Milsurps but the price was very right.

From a few minutes spent on google I figure the darker one is a No1Mk3 and the lighter one is a No4 Mk1
The light one has the "US Property" stamp on it, which I have read was Savage made?

Both bores are very mint, the Mk3 is missing a mag but shouldn't be hard to locate a replacement.

Basically wondering value? I only paid $200 for the two rifle package deal.

With excellent bores, you did well, even with one missing a mag. Typically the No4 would go for about $175, and the No 1 for about $125 (no mag, but "restoreable"). Others will disagree with that valuation, but will agree that you did well.
 
Ya done good!!! There are No.1 MK.III mags for sale on the equipment exchange so it'll be not biggie to put that one back to shootable condition. Note: No.4 mags don't work in the MK.III without some fiddling. The MK.III is restorable if you wish to go through the heartache and frustration of sourcing all the wood and hardware. The No.4 isn't but that's no impediment to enjoying shooting it. Lucky you! You have two old warhorses that will serve you well, either as hunting rifles or shooters. One more thing to note, surplus ammos is all but nonexistent now, so either look for good inexpensive commercial ammo or get into reloading if you wish to shoot them a lot.
 
I think you did well. Andy is pretty well dead on with his valuations I think. You should be careful you don't develop a Lee enfield problem!
 
Good score! I'd keep the no4 as is and restore the no1 depending on its make and if the rest of its components are still #'s matching.

Oh and a no4 mag will fit in a no1 in case you want to shoot it in the meantime, you just can't use a no1 mag in a no4.
 
Cool "hands-free" sling on the No.1. But it's mounted upside down. I have one and really like it.
