two things - who's got stock of the Browning 1911-380 and where do I buy the ammo?

I've checked all but a few of the sponsors and nobody has any of the 1911-380's with rail listed.

further to that, almost none have .380 Auto ammo in their catalog ether. <_<

They seemed to fizzle out... I heard complaints about the polymer frame cracking where the aluminum insert mounts.

I would say they fizzled out, they just aren't new to the market anymore so there isn't the hype there once was

Haven't heard of the polymer cracking, I would have to check the browning forum, I have one and I love it, it's not the railed version although that's the one I want, here's one in stock for you

I had the 1911-22-A1 and loved it...but I sold it with plans to get the model with the upgraded fiber sights. wish the 380 had an option with fiber sights as well...but meh, if one comes out, I'll sell the 380 I have to get it.

I absolutely love the 1911- 22 A1. I don't care that it's more less a novelty, it's fun as hell. So glad I bought one. Would love to try the 380 aswell.

You won't find 380 at your can tire, but most gun stores have it. Be prepared to pay the same or a little more than 9mm though

The 380 is a fun gun to shoot, recoil isn't too bad, I actually have a full length SS guide rod in mine as well, a fellow in the US was making them, sights on mine are sub par but it was the original 1911-380 that came in, long before the upgraded sights and ones with rails.

yes, I saw that CSC has two. trying to figure out why the SS is so much more though, as the MSRP for both is the same price on Browning's website.
