Two things

I have a small, totally unmarked (? Belgian) turn-barrel flintlock that looks to be an authentic 18th century pistol. Can anyone tell me where I can find flints for it? I'm not so much interested in shooting it as I would just like to have a "complete" piece.

Also, anyone know a source for a round or two of 9mm pinfire cartridges? Again, not for shooting, but just to have them for a pistol that would take them.

you can buy pinfire reloading kits from a european source. Do a net search. preicey but neat.

"...source for a round or two of 9mm pinfire..." Gun shows usually have a cartridge collector or two. Flints can be had at any gun shop that sells BP stuff.

You might try emailing the flint lady as we know her when she comes to BC rondyvous to compete. Marilyn Crandall at (marilynnbcrandall@gmail.com) is the last email address I had for her. Price and quality are good. She and her husband live in Idaho. Obviously take the brackets off of her email.

Measure up the size of the flint required (width, length, thickness, approx) and take a look at the Track of the Wolf site. They stock sizes from about 1/4" wide on up to fairly huge.

They are pretty god about sending to Canada, too.

If nothing else, it'll give you an idea of what is available.

I agree with Mooncoon,the Lady can supply you with good English Gun Flints.I have know Marilyn and Daniel for a few years and get all my fints from them. BellyDancer
