Last year I bought a T/C Icon in 308win. After Christmas I put a scope (Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14x50 Rapid Z 1000) on it and shot a few rounds to sight it in.
I love the gun. The whole feeling of it is just perfect. The weight is just what I wanted and the accuracy is phenominal. The only thing I don't like is the magazine. Rounds are stacked on top of one another and are pushed into the mag from the front. No problem when you are out hunting, but on the range you typically load only one round at a time. For the gun to chamber right you need to feed out of the mag, therefore you have to remove the mag every time you want to load a round. You cannot push a round into the mag from the top or just drop a round on top of the mag, because it will not chamber when you close the bolt. Bit of a pain. My Browning A-Bolt can be top-loaded more easily. Well, I guess it's just a minor distraction from the overall class of the gun.
The scope works good too. I shoot reloaded ammo, so it is vital to know your muzzle velocity reasonably well, in order to use the calculator on the Zeiss website. Once you got thing figured out, using the ballistic reticle is a piece of cake. Just remember the right magnification setting and you are good to go.
