A buddy of mine shot one of these the other day and has decided to buy it even after reading all the bad reviews. He's looking for a two tone version of it though and none of the stores here in peg city have them. Where would oneself go about getting one. He doesn't care if it's a sport or threaded barrel. Also was wondering if you can get the reverse two tone mosquito anywhere in Canada? Thanks for the help guys. P.s. I told him to just make an account on here to ask but apparently he's too lazy.

take bad reviews on .22lr semis with a grain of salt. People will burn through 15,000 rounds of ammo in a year and then complain about failures or cracking or whatever. Maintenance is needed, parts need to be replaced, esp the recoil spring.

As for a Mosquito, I think I saw one in the EE. Happy hunting.

Go to Joe brooks firearms in Brandon. Not only did I write my PAL/RPAL there almost 8 years ago, but have come back(from wpg) to Brandon a few times jsut for the service. VERY professional, nice guys out there, and I just happened to buy my Mosquito from them early this spring.

I have shot the mosquito a lot, it's a bit fussy on ammunition, but once you find what it likes, there is no problem. Just buy a box from a few brands at your local CTire and try them. One tip though, don't overlube it, it will FTF/jam like hell lol.

Imo, it's most reliable with copper headed/washed 22lr but those are a bit more expensive. Mine actually loves the cheap Reminton thunderbolts oddly enough. From what I read on Sig Forum, it seems to be a toss up. Some works perfect with some cheap bulk, some will work with CCI Minimags only.... I guess I got one of the "less fussy" one :)

I happen to have one for sale, but it's not Twotone. I do know that there is one available though on EE if you use the search feature.

I have a two tone as well. I shot it often and haven`t had a problem using the white spring. I shot different kinds of ammunition and it all works fine.

I guess I'm just one of the lucky ones. Although I had to change the front sight, it always shot too high.

I've heard of and seen a couple two tone for sale on the EE but all were the normal two tone and not the reverse. Also they didn't say if they had threaded barrels or if they were the sport version. I personally love the look of the reverse two tone.
