Two-Two-Three or Two-Twenty-Three?

Scusez monsieur, avez vous de la munition de deux vingt-trois Remington en stock s'il vous plait ? That's how it goes in my neck of the woods anyway.

Actually, in proper math, anything after the decimal point is a number on it's own. so it's two-two-three, but that's just the math geek in me coming out. :D
Well if i was technical i'd call it two hundred twenty three thou ammo, even though the bullet is .224
That's just the machinist in me coming out.

I have never heard it as "two twenty three" ever.

When I buy it, or describe it I say "two two three" or "two two three remington". Never had an odd look :D
