I would say two-twenty-three ... but I wouldn't find it weird to hear it the other way.

Well if i was technical i'd call it two hundred twenty three thou ammo,even though the bullet is .224
That's just the machinist in me coming out.

I have never heard it as "two twenty three" ever.

When I buy it, or describe it I say "two two three" or "two two three remington". Never had an odd look
