I noticed there are two types of CQ on the market. One is normal look and another one is $100 more but comes with fore end rail and grip like showed on FT's website.

I'm wondering why seems no one talking about the second one or getting one? Any problem with the Norinco rail and grip or it doesn't worth the $100? It looks cool to me. I'm new to AR15 scene and thinking get one soon.

We add the quad and rail and foregrip for $85.00.

Hmmm...I think I'm missing something. This is what I have now...

And I would like to add the foregrip to make it look like this...

I already have the foregrip but don't see where I can attach it. Do I need to remove the handguard to get to the rail or remove the hand guard and install a rail? In that case I am missing a rail????

f:P:, think of it like a car.... car A has a spoiler car b does not, how do you make car b like car a?....add the spoiler.. in this case you take off the plastic hand guard and add a hand guard with rails. I do have a sneaking suspicion spearhunter is just:nest:

Not really. Just new at this. Got the rifle last night and though I could just install the foregrip. When I bought it I was told I didn't need the tri-rail if all I needed was a grip and no other accessories.

Fair enough, you can do it that way and i have seen it done but i personally would possibly question the strength/structural integrity of that system. You can either get a free-float rail system (more accurate) but you have to remove the front sight to get it on or one that comes in multiple pieces and you can put together on the rifle. Look for "quad rails" and find one that suites your needs and budget.

Thanks. I was hoping to get it all in one go. I looked into the handguard and also thought it wouldn't hold. I used a 3 piece rail on another rifle before and it worked fine so I'll look into that.

Here is the simple solution.

This rail here mounts onto the bottom of the round handguard you have, up through the holes in it. Then you attach your grip to the rail ;)
