Hey,
I have a couple questions, firstly I have 2 dust covers in pictures I'll link too, and a picture of the side of my Japanese Type 38 Cavalry Carbine. I'd like to confirm what I have:
From what I can tell, it's a Nagoya Arsenal made Type 38 Cavalry Carbine, Serial 1457 of the 4th Series of rifles. What I can't get is just after the Nagoya factory mark, is a very very small marking that looks like a mini sail boat, or perhaps a "pac-man" with it's mouth open to the right. It is comprised of right-angle lines, no rounding. I tried to take as close a picture as I could, but it is extremely small.
Any information is great!
Thanks,
Drachenblut.
