The drum mag only needs a few passes with file on the underside of the front catch on the mag.
That easy , no joke.

Mine was ok on the front latch. It was too long for the mag well and I had to file by the rear latch to make it fit. Obviously tolerance stacking and such plays a part here. Not every one of them will be a perfect fit.
