**TYPE 81 7.62x39 Service Rifle** ~IN STOCK -NOW AVAILABLE!!!

I think your better off doing what I did and taking off the fixed stock and modify another stock to fit little bit of work but then you have a bunch of choices depending on how much you want to spend and how much you want to modify

I hear that, my folders got a bend to it, pretty Un impressed for a $1200 rifle

I emailed TI to see what they say

Have they already address the bending issues? It is not that hard to make them straight.
And yes it sucks for a $1200 gun

Picked up a fixed stock unit from my LGS a week ago -seems TI may have received another shipment? He had both fixed and folders and sold them out in 2 days.

What a fun gun to shoot. Love it.

Did this ever get answered, I cannot find it in this thread? An email to TI has not been replied to... what is the mystery tool that is not in the tool kit in the stock.

Besides the cleaning kit and oil bottle there is a tool for adjusting the front sight and one more tool that is pentagon on one end with a flat spot right behind where the pentagon ends and round rod on the other anyone know what that tool is for.

I was going to do the same, been crazy busy might attempted it tonight I'll post pics when I do

Regarding the muzzle break. Just a thought but I'm thinking there may be room (if memory serves me correctly there is more than 1/2" to work with) to thread the inside of the barrel launcher to accept a threaded adapter sleeve that a brake could then be threaded onto.

So I just got my Type 81 (folder). I'm sure that there is a bend in it going to the right. For any of you who have this problem. How much did this affect your accuracy.

I really am liking both my T81s ! mine have ran flawless and accurate once the front sights were zeroed. If going by AK quality standards since they are both comblock stamped rotating bolt x39 rifles, these T81s are on the upper end, just like the Chinese AKMs . These are a hell of a deal cause in the US for the same money the only AK you can get is a Romanian WASR10 , or some cheap Century arms offerings. The T81 is way nicer than any WASR or CA AK .

The only kinda downside to these rifles is they are not zeroed from the factory like the CZ858s , you need a front sight tool and one of mine had a very stiff windage drum, had to use heat and a vice! The other rifle it moved with no issue . Some people say they have bent rifles , mine kinda looked bent but i just striped the rifle down fully and look down it with both eyes open and it looked good then , checked with a straight edge too was fine . Really who cares if it functions good and the sights can be zeroed fine.
