RCMP can't re-classify the AR15 to prohibited.

In legislation the AR15 is Restricted BY NAME. The RCMP will not be able to change legislation/law, they will only be able to interpret it accordingly and offer classifications according to the current laws on the book.

Stop fear mongering if you are not educated. For the AR15 to be prohibited it would need to be prohibited by name through legislation.

I might be mistaken on the AR part. However, from what I read in the political discussion forums, a problem we have with the new bill is that RCMP will be given the power to reclassify firearms. Under the previous Harper government, the RMPC's ban/reclassification on the CZ and SW got overruled, but now liberals try to reverse this. How is this not a legitimate concern? What is stopping the RCMP to reclassify other firearms in the future?

I understand what you are saying, but for those of us who already prepaid, any news are better than silence. Also if TI can confirm whether the shipment has left China this week, at least we know they are coming.

Lol cranwick who complained as much as anyone last shipment. With people still waiting for their orders from shipment one to be filled, you'd be wrong in assuming "they show up"
 
I strolled in to Canadian Firearms outlet the first day of the TACCOM show. Looked on the shelf, saw them sitting there, wasn't sure what I was looking at, then it struck me...."I'LL TAKE IT" I said.
He handed me one and it was all over within 3 minutes, the other 5 were purchased one after another by 3 friends and some randoms!!! Lol
 
Another range session this weekend where I had to live with 2 mags and constant reloading. It's ruining the type 81 for me. When are all my missing mags coming????

We are well into Q2 now...

I have a CZ858 does it sucks if C71 gets passed yup. But I’ll grandfather in to that Prohibited class. I rather keep it and deal with that bull#### then give it up. If you give it up or give in the liberals win. And that’s worse. I would like a type81 badly. I’m sure they will get here and there will be mags available but I’m hesitant to buy until they are here now.
