TI is a business and they have a business to run. They don't have time to deal with the tiny vocal minority of customers with so much child-like impatience that simple knowledge that he rifles have arrived and are being shipped is not enough of a status update for them. They need to tune out the static and focus on the job at hand - shipping the rifles and not catering to incessant and pointless requests for status updates, photos and God only knows what else.

Well said !!!

Every firearm that is shipped in Canada has to have signature option (1.50 Extra) By law they can not ship without signature. If someone leaves firearms at your door and you have not signed or they fake your signature you have to call Canada post and complain. You are legally responsible for that firearm when it is delivered to you.
Always understood they had to see your ID when its a firearm? At least that's been my experience. No tracking number yet.

I wish I could run my business the way that you outline... WISH. Sadly the opposite is true, at least in my case. The pointless requests, photos, and flow of information (managing expectations) is critical to my customer's happiness, which in turn is critical to my success. (Commercial construction)

Not a jab...just me dreaming..

This is so true, I can’t believe there are so many adults who act like needy “me, me, me” children.

I think it could be the extra sling that's delaying the initial orders. April 2016 and no tracking yet.

Im also april 2016, fixed stock 5 extra mags, will be interesting to see when it arrives but as others have stated i think they are hust crushing the vanilla orders first, atleast fixed stock variety.

Thanks! That's what I thought. and has always been my experience. Seemed crazy to not have it.

I'm in Commercial Construction, also. I completely agree with your sentiment. When we are building for businesses (say like, a firearms distributor, for example), is all the same crap you hear on this thread. So the street apparently goes only one way.

Actually, I really don't deal with anything that small, anyways. 1,000,000 sq. ft. developers, act no different than what you hear by the consumers in this thread. Updates, tracking projects, photos, daily status reports, are the name of the game to stay in business.

I, too, would love to just be able to manage my jobs, and not worry about the ones who are paying the bills. They don't need updates.

Reality doesn't work like that.

Just to revisit this post. TI had a very long time to develop and implement a shipping strategy for these rifles. I do agree with this post for most cases where the customer is completely in the dark regarding production/shipping times and plans. This is a slightly different scenario however. As a pre-buy where all the information regarding production and shipping is provided by the seller on a public internet forum therefore any sound strategic plans have to take that info into account.

To essentially advertise to buyers that those who have waited for a couple years are queued up behind those who have just purchased a few days ago is not a sound business practice and they could very well lose future sales due to that decision. As mantis says, "they have a business to run" but to run that business effectively all these factors that will have an effect on both present profitability and future sales need to be taken into account. They dropped the ball here IMO, for the sake of half an hour's forklift work or a few hours hand balming product they risked losing future sales.

There's no question many posters here are remarkably child-like and display significant ADHD issues at times but for the most part that is not the case. Many very early buyers of this product are just relatively normal people who have a sensible and sound set of expectations. It's this group that might be a little annoyed with the final shipping strategy based on both a decent set of principals and familiarity with sound business practices. Nothing to do with posturing or chest thumping.

There is a good chance my post is just an effort to kill time while refreshing my email inbox however. lol.

I'd rather they just start shipping, grab an order from the pile, grab the rifle and accessories, pack it, ship it, next.

I ordered in March I believe. I don't expect to be prioritized over someone who ordered in October. Just so long as they're getting out.

Thanks TI. I won't be boycotting you for not having a live stream with Don Cherry commentating for us.
